The iPureFFPE Nucleic Acid Magnetic Kits are designed to rapidly extract and purify total DNA from formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded tissues. Through a unique buffer system and Magnetic Beads, samples can be directly extracted after simple pretreatment with proteinase K, and the extracted products can be directly used for PCR and other enzymatic reactions. This kit is compatible with automated nucleic acid extraction instruments.
Polystyrene microspheres are used, which are monodisperse with good suspension properties and long half-sedimentation time, highly homogeneous, suitable for purifying DNA fragments of various sizes.
Using iPure Magnetic Kits, Company Q, and Company T's FFPE kits to extract 20 mg of paraffin samples, 1% agarose gel electrophoresis results are shown in the image below:

For the extraction of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues from mouse heart and brain, samples were extracted from freshly prepared paraffin sections and paraffin samples stored at 4°C for 1 week and 1 year, respectively. After extraction, they were analyzed using an Agilent 2100. As shown in the left image, materials are provided by Shenzhen Red Clay Biotechnology Co., Ltd. DNA extracted from paraffin stored for less than 1 week showed fragments mostly in the range of 4k5k. Samples stored for a long time at 4°C showed slight degradation, with fragments dispersed in the range of 300 bp4000 bp.
