The assay kit utilizes nano-magnetic beads that specifically bind residual DNA from Chinese hamster ovary (CHO), MDCK, Vero cells, as well as from Bacillus subtilis, and Escherichia coli cultures. Combined with a unique buffer solution system, it extracts purified residual DNA from 200μL purified antibody samples. This kit finds wide application in the pre-treatment of samples for residual DNA detection in bioproducts.
Using nano-magnetic beads, the kit operates on the principle of nucleic acid adsorption under high salt ion concentration and low pH, followed by nucleic acid release under low salt ion concentration and high pH. It employs chemical agents such as yeast tRNA and glycogen to enrich trace amounts of DNA. The extraction of nucleic acids is facilitated through magnetic racks and automated nucleic acid extractors, enabling rapid extraction of nucleic acids.
